India's some Role models whose inspiration is unforgettable
A role model is a motivator whose behaviour, career path and achievements can be
emulated especially by the people of the new generation. A person's chosen role
model may have a remarkable impact on his or her career choices, hope, values,
determination, along with life goal. The role models of India act as motivators because they emerge from the worst
situation of life.

If
a student chooses a role model as per his favourite path, he can follow a
specific way instead of wasting time nurturing other possibilities.
“Where
the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where
knowledge is free”

that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake".
Gurudev
Rabindranath Tagore wrote the above lines. Rabindranath Tagore was not only a
well-known poet, but the name also encompasses an ideologist, a humanist, an
internationalist and a universalist. Throughout his life, he wrote poems,
stories, dramas, novels along with songs. His strong presence in almost every
form of art nourished the Bengali culture during the early 20th century.
In
1913 he received Nobel Prize for his outstanding poetic work named Gitanjali.
He strongly denounced the British rule and gave up a knighthood in protest of
the Jallianwala massacre. He established Vishva Bharati University and tried to
change the education system of the then India and wanted Vishwa Bharati would
reach "somewhere beyond the limits of nation and geography ."

APJ Abdul Kalam, the missile man of India, is considered as an inspiration for
people of all ages. Though he was born in a humble family, he became a great
scientist by his will power, sheer struggle and hard work. His simplistic
approach to life encouraged the youths to remain focussed and grounded.
Sachin
Tendulkar is one of the greatest cricketers in India. Though he retired from
international cricket, he continuous to be a fantastic role model for the
youths of India. His polite nature and humility inspire the young generation to
be humble and gentle. Throughout his career, he made so many records that
remained untouched.
Mary
Kom is not only considered among women Role
models of India but also a motivational athlete for the men who get
inspired by her endless struggle. She won the World amateur Boxing championship
six times, gold in Asian games and ultimately achieved a bronze medal in the
Olympic games. Throughout her life, she fought against adversities, but her
indomitable spirit energised her to come back again and again.
Verghese
Kurien is popular as the Father of the White Revolution in India. His
contribution to rural employment can not be forgotten. He transformed India
from a milk deficient state to the world's largest milk producer. He
established around 30 institutions which are owned as well as managed by conventional
farmers. Under his supervision, Amul brand became India's one of the largest
self-sustaining companies.
Nobody
could be more inspirational than a Nobel Laureate. Amartya Sen, an Indian
origin Indian economist, brought Nobel prize, a significant success, to our
country for his exceptional work in welfare economics and social choice.
Throughout his career, he worked for reputed universities across the world. He
is an inspiration for those who are interested in academic achievements.
Role models of India showed their
ability to overcome obstacles, commitment to the community along with
selflessness and values.
